A few years ago, I came to the realization that social media was increasing in it’s negativity. It seemed like every time that I would log on, there was criticism and hatred. People were saying things that they would never say in person, without giving any thought to the impact of their words in the lives of others.

I felt convicted.

What if I used my platform to try and reach others with encouraging words? What if I allowed myself to become transparent about my struggles and my faith so that others could find comfort in the fact that we are not ever walking alone? What if I was willing to allow myself to “be real” before others so that they didn’t just take a look at the hi-lights real that Facebook can become – and they saw the real me? What if I allowed my faith to be in the forefront of my relationships with everyone I know, without filtering it?

There are times where God places something on our hearts that we cannot deny come from Him. This was one of those times. And so my writing endeavor began.

At this point, I feel strongly that it is time to expand. Not everyone uses social media. It was time to expand to an actual blog site. While I admit, I am not tech-savvy, I am committed to learning. I am committed to sharing my faith and encouraging faith in the lives of anyone that God will allow my path to cross.

My hope is that you will be blessed and challenged in your own understanding and walk with the greatest love mankind has ever known.

Blessings!
