Are you living in wisdom or foolishness?

Where you invest matters. What you invest in, matters.

Life storms come. They are inevitable. Storms do not impact only a select few, they are a part of life that we all encounter at some point. The question isn’t “Will I encounter a storm?” it is, “How will I prepare myself for the storm?”

In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shares with us how we can prepare for the storms that come our way. “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” (Matthew 7:24-27)

I prepare for the storms by listening and following the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is by listening and following that I am able to withstand the bombarding of life’s storms. I will not be overcome by the storm. It will not destroy me. When my life is grounded in the Word of God and obedience to Him, I am safe and secure. I will remain standing. I will weather the storm.  So can you.

Blessings!
